Technology Rooms and Reservations

Information Technology Services (ITS) has rooms available on a limited basis for conducting classes, lectures, demonstrations, and/or meetings.

Students are not allowed to reserve any of the following rooms. Nor are the rooms to be used for study sessions.

Please use your Austin Exchange Messaging Service (AEMS) or Office 365 account to check room availability or make reservations. This can be done within an existing or new appointment by selecting Scheduling Assistant > Add Room(s). All conference rooms are searchable in the Global Address List (GAL) by building code and room number.

Be sure you are familiar with the Reservation Guidelines before booking a room to avoid any delays or scheduling problems.

Please contact fac_building_manager@utlists.utexas.edu with questions regarding these rooms (FAC 328, 330, 332), including training on conference room technology.

Reservation Guidelines

By making a reservation you are agreeing to abide by the following guidelines:

  • These rooms are maintained in part by those who use them. Please keep them clean and return equipment and furniture to their proper locations.
  • ITS staff may not be immediately available to provide support during an event. It is strongly recommended that first-time users of a room make a prior invitation to do a test run of the event. This is especially important for a two-way videoconference or webcast from the spaces. You should coordinate with LAITS, help-la-classroom@austin.utexas.edu, when you schedule the room for the test and any two-way/webcast events.
  • Your reservation should include both setup and cleanup time. Allow enough time within your reservation for these activities.
  • The rooms are normally unlocked upon arrival.
  • Double check all reservations on your personal calendar with the calendar for each room a few days before the event/meeting, and again day-of. This ensures that the room will be available.
  • Share details about room changes with all meeting/event attendees.

If you have any questions or concerns about your reservation, please send an email to FAC_Building_Manager@utlists.utexas.edu.
