Strategic Initiatives

Own and drive strategic initiatives for the Office of the Assistant Vice President (AVP)

In concert with stakeholders, strategically scope, prioritize, and provide oversight of large initiatives across the ITS portfolio.

For high-visibility projects, provide oversight for deliverables and budgets, help triage risks, issues, inter-dependencies, and resource management problems.

Enhance best practices for ITS project methodology based on AVP’s vision, campus needs, and industry trends

Develop consistent reporting processes by providing project portfolio budget roll-up and reporting oversight at the executive and leadership level.

Develop and maintain IT Leadership Council (ITLC) structures and ensure the smooth operation of council bodies

Partner with the AVP of ITS, ITS leadership, and campus IT leaders to align efforts with campus needs and ITS strategy, especially in the area of change management.

Consult in areas of organizational effectiveness and the development of Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) initiatives
